Dave Schmidt joined the CEDA team in April 2021. Prior to CEDA, Dave was the news director at a small market radio station and has over 20 years of experience in purchasing, inventory, and logistics management.

Growing up in a small town in north central Iowa, Dave has always enjoyed the perks of small-town life. Dave and his wife, Beth, live in Jackson where he has been an active member of the community. He currently serves as Treasurer for the Jackson Center for the Arts and has served on the Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce Board, Jackson Community Foundation, and Friends of the Jackson County Libraries. He was also named the 2020 Jackson Volunteer of the Year.
