Carissa joined the CEDA team as an intern in August 2025 while concurrently interning with the 7 Rivers Alliance. She is currently a senior at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, pursuing a major in marketing with minors in communications and digital media studies. While living in La Crosse, WI, she has developed a passion for supporting rural communities by helping local businesses grow, strengthening local partnerships, and engaging in volunteer efforts.
